Widex hearing aids

11 models · 2 platforms: Widex Allure (W1 chip), Widex MOMENT

Widex runs two live platforms. Allure, on the W1 chip, is the current flagship: it launched in March 2025, and BTE plus Widex's first rechargeable custom ITE reached the US in November 2025. MOMENT is the previous generation but is still widely sold, particularly for behind-the-ear and custom in-the-ear fittings. Allure AI with Clarity Boost was announced in May 2026 and does not go on sale in the US until 1 November 2026.

One difference worth knowing if you are comparing brands: Widex states that its current hearing aids do not support Auracast. LE Audio is claimed for Allure only, not for MOMENT.

Widex has historically emphasized tinnitus management features, including Zen therapy (fractal tones designed to support habituation). If you have both hearing loss and bothersome tinnitus, see our hearing aids for tinnitus guide for what the evidence says and when to see a doctor first.

Widex technology levels

Widex uses the same four numeric levels across platforms. Allure RIC launched in 440, 330 and 220. The level sets how much the hearing aid does for you automatically in difficult listening, and it moves the price far more than the physical style does.

LevelPositioningBest suited for
440PremiumThe most demanding listening: groups, restaurants, meetings and travel.
330AdvancedRegular social and working listening with frequent background noise.
220StandardEveryday listening with moderate activity and occasional noise.
110EntryQuieter routines, home and one-to-one conversation.
